Dear Fellow Rotarians,
With a very heavy heart, I bring you the news of the passing of one of our founding members, Pam Harrison.
Pam will always be remembered for her passion to eradicate polio as well as for her dedication to international and community service.
Pam's contributions to make the world a better place over the years have been immense.
Since her joining District 6330 as a Global Passport member, Pam headed up the tulip fundraising campaign through her past club and district raising more than $175,000 including matched funds for TRF's Polio fund. As part of this, she created a tulip garden in Nova Scotia for our club. She introduced us to the Walk Around the World, which advocates for polio eradication and gets us moving. During the pandemic, she has spent tireless hours making approximately 2000 face masks for her local school children, community and for projects as far away as Kenya and the DR. She is also a club builder; helping us design a new kind of Rotary.
Please keep Pam's family in your thoughts and prayers and let's complete our Walk Around the World in her memory.
Love to all,
Tanya
