A Project Led By Member: Hala Jawad
On November 5th there was a massive explosion in Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone (West Africa). A truck collided with a full, fuel tanker truck. 100 people were killed in that explosion and many homes and businesses were scorched in the ensuing fire. We are working on shipping a container of household supplies to Sierra Leone. Club members within driving distance of Hala will purchase goods from the "emergency needs" list and deliver them to the distribution center. (Which is currently Hala's house)
